Reimagine the Future of Law

Attention all programmers, lawyers, data analysts, and tech enthusiasts You are invited to participate in the For The Hacker: Reimagine the Future of Law hackathon, taking place in the UCF Engineering Atrium located at 12800 Pegasus Drive, Orlando, FL 32816 from April 28 30, 2023.
The hackathon will take place over three days of workshops, mentorship sessions, and networking opportunities. Your challenge will be to improve value and experience for clients nationally. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to make a real impact and advance your skills in legal automation, meet like-minded individuals, showcase your skills, and potentially launch your career in legal automation. On tap will be industry experts, mentors, and the latest technologies to assist your creation.
In addition to this challenge, there are cash prizes of over $20,000! The top three teams will receive $10,000, $5,000, and $3,000, respectively and additional $2,500 each for the most innovative solution, the best use of technology, the best client experience, and the popular vote.

For Attendees

Choose 1 challenge for your team:

  • Data collection form. Easy to use and secure, two-way sync (e.g. internal staff could fill out, and client could fill out at same time, real-time updating).
  • Scheduling tool – again, two-way between the scheduling party and the recipient (and an easy way to capture changes that’s not an email chain).
  • Generative AI – can we summarize our depositions and other text transcripts.
  • Holograms and 3D Content Creation – Innovative solutions that incorporate holograms and 3D content creation to create a captivating and immersive experience in or out of the courtroom.

Overall goal:

For this hackathon, you need to cut one hour out of a case management process. Anything is possible, you have a magic wand. What do you cut?
